Water Treatment by Filtration

Filtration is a major method of water treatment and it is used in two main ways:

  1. Taste, odor and sediment are removed with mechanical filtration. Sometimes these are combined with activated charcoal or a KDF filter to remove chemicals after the water is treated with chemicals.
  2. Filters that either adsorb, kill or block pathogens
    • The Nano Alumina filter (Adsorption of pathogens)
    • The Slow Sand Filter (Kills pathogens with Biological action)
    • True blocking filters that only block pathogens like Reverse Osmosis or ceramic filters

Let us explain each type of filtration technology in detail.

The Nano Alumina Hanish Water filters can be purchased from us as well as many other filters.
